A Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) divulgou hoje a lista dos quase 130 medicamentos similares proibidos ontem.
Todos são usados no tratamento de doenças de alto risco, como hipertensão, epilepsia, asma e problemas cardíacos e classificados como de baixo índice terapêutico, ou seja, a dose eficaz é muito próxima da dose tóxica.
Os medicamentos similares nunca haviam sido submetidos a testes. Esses produtos tiveram os registros cancelados e a fabricação e distribuição proibidas porque os laboratórios não apresentaram à Anvisa os teste que provavam que os similares tem a mesma eficiência dos medicamentos de referência.
O similar seria uma cópia dos medicamentos de referência, que é o produto de marca, pesquisado e desenvolvido por um laboratório.
Os testes exigidos pela Anvisa são realizados em seres humanos e demonstra em qual quantidade e quanto tempo, depois de administrado, o princípio ativo dos remédios atinge a corrente sanguínea. A partir disso, verifica-se se a eficiência do medicamento similar é a mesma do de referência.
Os laboratórios têm 30 dias, a partir de hoje, para recolherem os produtos das farmácias, hospitais e postos de saúde. A Anvisa também suspendeu temporariamente a fabricação de outros 30 medicamentos. Esses produtos já cumpriram parte dos testes exigidos por isso terão mais um ano para apresentar os resultados.
