A revista americana Blender elegeu as 50 piores canções da história da música. De acordo com a publicação, algumas das músicas da lista têm “uma bela porcaria de melodia” e outras são executadas de “forma desprezível”. Entre os artistas da seleção da Blender estão nomes como Celine Dion, Ricky Martin e até os Beatles. A “vencedora” é We Built This City, da banda Starship, formada pelos ex-integrantes do grupo Jefferson Airplane. Segundo a revista, nada na música combina e o pior momento é quando a letra diz: “Who cares, they´re always changing corporation names” (“Quem se importa, eles estão sempre mudando os nomes das corporações”).
